Brunch for 30 Malibu - Thousand Oaks area

suzanne50 Sep 7, 2011 01:19 PM

Have family coming in from oversea's and am looking for a place to have brunch for 30 family members on Sunday. Need to have it in Malibu, Thousand Oaks, Calabasas etc.. Needs to be close to 101 or PCH. Would prefer to have private room in resturant if possible. Am not from that area so any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The champagne brunch at Four Seasons is the best around Also, they have outside seating overlooking a waterfall.

Duke's is a good bet. Moonshadows is also lovely, but I don't know if they have a private room. The lounge area outside is really nice.

Check out Duke's Malibu on PCH. Private room and great ocean views. The food is ok.

That was exactly what I was going to recommend. They have a room from which you can see the ocean. I have had good luck with their appetizers.

The Grill on the Alley, right off the 101 at Westlake Blvd. has a private room that will seat 30. We're thinking about having my birthday party there next year. The View isn't as good as Duke's but the food is a heck of a lot better!!
