2 Girl Foodies Looking for Eats

  • 2

Hey,

We're two 26 year olds looking for the best food Boston has to offer. Looking for all meals of the day, will be in Boston from Thursday - Sunday in November (likely first weekend).

We're looking for everything from Iron Chef/Top Chef/Celebrity Chef restaurants to neighborhood gems to hole in the walls. Price is not an issue as we'd like to experience both finer dining and budget restaurants.

We don't know the city well so the closer to the "downtown hub" the better, but not a major issue if we have to travel.

Thanks!

  1. You will inevitably be told to search the boards, and you should, but some starting points:

Good drinks and food: Eastern Standard, Island Creek Oyster Bar, Citizen Public House
    Good drinks: Drink, Stoddard's
Awesome breakfast sandwiches in the hole in the wall category: Mike and Pattie's
Some neighborhoods not too far from downtown Boston that you should explore: Inman Square, Coolidge Corner, South End

You would be best served if you have any specific categories that you are looking for. Give as many guidelines as you can. There are literally hundreds of favorites among those on this board and the more you narrow the more you will be helped out.

    1. you would prob really enjoy Blue Inc, a hip place whose chef/owner did the Hell's Kitchen thing.
this might also be helpful though it is not at all geared to celebrity chefs:
