Bacon wrapped pickles

Has anyone tried to make this, and if so, what did you do?

      Dead simple and the perfect tailgate fare. Cold beer, a bacon wrapped're good to go!
      Tips: snap pickels (mini kosher garlic dill) work best and should be dry (not wet at all) and your best quality bacon (high pork, low fat content) best choice.

        is it bad that ill be fasting for yom kippur, and then making these the next day for thanksgiving?!

      2. Tomorrow I'll be making a list of essentials to bring on vacation. Pickles and bacon are now on the list.

        1. I am going to have to cook these while the turkeys in the oven.. do u think it would work if they were baked at liek 325? or do these definitely require broiler action?
          alternatively, do you think i could pan fry?

            If you have a mesh rack that can sit inside an oven pan then baking would work without the appetizers sitting directly in the bacon grease. Pan fry would also mean they are sitting in the bacon grease. The idea is to quick cook the bacon to a crisp without creating a greasy mess. As much as I enjoy bacon, a greasy pickle isn't going to be an enjoyable appetizer.
