  1. Sripraphai would work. Or other places in Woodside/Elmhurst. I like this Indo-Chinese joint called Tangra Masala, but haven't been for a while.

I don't know that there are any restaurant musts in Corona, but that's also a quick drive from LGA via taxi.

    1. Agree that Sri is do-able if your going to LGA. There are now a few other respectable Thai places near Sri. The Delta terminal at LGA has decent pizza by Dom DeMarco's son and a French bistro that, while pricey, features excellent food and good service. Their salade Nicoise is one of the best in NYC.

      1. Sri is closed on Wednesdays...LGA is within a ten minute ride from Flushing, Woodside, Elmhurst, Jackson Heights, Corona, and Astoria. So many different cuisines available in these neighborhoods. Rego Park for Uzbek though might be a bit on the threshold..... Not sure about picking up a yellow cab on the street back to the AP from any of these places though. Probably have to call a car service...I've had a flight delayed at LGA and popped over to Taqueria Coatzingo for tacos for lunch before. But that was with my own car.

        1. Within a 10-15 minute drive from LGA, the options are nearly limitless.
In addition to those mentioned above you could easily get to Little Pepper for Sichuan on College Point Blvd, Renee's for Filipino on Roosevelt and 69th St, Northern Dumling (NE Chinese) on Northern Blvd, or Hunan House on Northern Blvd. All should have relatively easy parking at that hour. The quickest places to get to for excellent food might be Rincon Criollo (Cuban) on Junction Blvd 1/2 block past Roosevelt or La Esquina Criolla for Argentinian another half mile down Junction Blvd. And if you wanted to try one of the Uzbek restaurants, Registan on 108th St in Forest Hills would be my choice. You can be there in under 10 minutes if you take the Grand Central Pkwy to the Jewel Ave exit and backtrack. Cheburichnaya is equally good but a further 7-10 minute drive.
All of the above should have very quick service at the hour you'll be there.
