sorry i don't remember the name but the shop - on young street, just three or four doors north of St. Louis bar and grill. THE BEST Gelato in the city - and the $ is reasonable.

It seems that Il Gelatiere isn't universally loved, though I still enjoy it. I also think Simply Italian on Yonge (a new spot, also mentioned in that thread) is excellent. So much delicious gelato, so little time...

I agree. Awesome. They have a spicy chocolate gelato that I keep returning for.

And Simply has a Yorkville location too that is also good (but I think the prices are higher than the the Yonge street location

good to know! last time i was near the yonge street one i skipped it because i assumed the prices were the same as in yorkville (which IMO are just too high).
