Westchester breakfast
looking for a good sit down breakfast place somewhere between white plains and croton. Something more unique than a diner would be great. We are going tomorrow morning so any quick suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! Jay

A very unique breakfast can be enjoyed in Le Jardin du Roi in Chappaqua. This is a real restaurant, serving French bistro food at lunch and dinner, and breakfast is with a French touch as well. Omelettes, French Toast, Croissants, Quiche and more. All in a pretty environment that makes you feel like you're in Paris!

City Limits has one of the few decent breakfast menus in the area you're searching (the northern terminal of central avenue by the county center, by 287 and the Bronx River pkwy). It has fresher food than all the diners I've been to but charges a bit more while serving smaller sizes.

Elisa recommended Anton's in Croton and she's pretty reliable. I haven't tried them yet.
Also the Star Diner in downtown WP is supposed to be a good classic diner but small and crowded. Haven't been there either.

Agree with all three...Wobble Cafe for eclectic (although sometimes hectic), Anton's for interesting omelet concoctions, and City Limits for housemade hash, smoked salmon, good omelets, or waffles/pancakes served with real maple syrup (Wobble serves real maple syrup also, oh, and housemade mango hot sauce)
