Looking for dried mushrooms (porcini) in large quantities, good quality and reasonable price. Does someone has any suggestions?

I'm not talking about a shipping container. Something like 0.5 to 1.0 lb. Runs around $20, IIRC.

Porcini might be kinda tough. You can definitely get shitake at the international markets. I get porcini at Restaurant Depot. They're a good deal for a big container, but they are from China.

Try Buford Highway Farmer's Market, Dekalb Farmer's Market, or something like that. I noticed that at BHFM there were a ton of dried peppers so perhaps there's a mushroom section too.
