Blue Cheese/Olive Martinis Similar to 28 Degrees?
Recently had the most delicious martini with blue cheese stuffed olives at 28 Degrees. Does anyone know any other fun spots within Boston-proper to have something similar? Would love to have one frou-frou martini to cap off a long week.
Thanks!

re: hotoynoodle
Really? I expect to see bleu-cheese-stuffed olives at a certain kind of bar attached to an upscale restaurant that serves a lot of savory-leaning martinis of vodka and gin to a crowd dominated by drinkers in their 40s and 50s, like luxury steakhouse chain outlets.
But I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that practically every craft cocktail bar in town, and most bars whose cocktail lists cater to younger drinkers with a raft of sweetish, flavored-vodka martinis, do not offer that as a garnish option.

re: hotoynoodle
Oh, indeed: lots of briny vodka being poured around town, for sure! I've heard it called, "my least favorite cocktail to make" by a number of excellent Boston bartenders. I still suspect that a lot of bars doing land business in dirty vodka martinis don't have bleu-stuffed olives.

Ethanol, water, and salt. Plus there's the wink-wink-nudge-nudge "Make mine 'extra dirty', tee-hee!" Blech.

If it's bleu-stuffed olives in particular you're looking for, I vaguely remember these at West Side Lounge in Cambridge.
It is true that Blue Inc. does some very interesting cocktails; the novelty does not stop at liquid nitrogen.
