Fish & Chips-Orillia to Huntsville

Heading to Rosseau in an hour. Looking at stopping for lunch, thinking fish and chips. Any suggestions?

I've been to Duckworths in Orillia several times. I've always enjoyed my meal there. Good sized portions, not overly greasy. I've only had their fish and chips, and only been for lunch.

There's also Bounty Fish and Chips on Colborne St downtown. I've only been once, don't think I'll be back. Food wasn't bad, but I find Duckworths better (and they aren't licensed).

Westside in Huntsville. Get the coconut cream pie. If I ever go back, I`ll honestly forgo the fish and chips entirely and just have a double serving of the pie. Fish was fine, fries not worth it, but that pie, OH MAN.

Reviews range for AMAZING to horrible, but we've always found the beer battered halibut to be very good. Not the best fries, however. They're the frozen kind, which is kind of weird in a place with the words fish and chips in the name.

Also, the homemade pies are excellent. Best coconut cream pie I've even had. Just one notch down from the pasta bar if you can believe it. Sometimes we go in just for a slice of pie.
