Looking for a nice restaurant to eat in Montreal

I am staying at the Day Inns hotel on 215 Blvd. Rene-Levesque Est.

Would anyone be kind enough to recommend some nice restaurants nearby ($20-$25 range)?

I'm willing to take subway but prefer something no further than 15-20 minutes away. I'm also coming from Toronto, so I'd like to try something "different" (if that's even possible)...so no Asian or Asian fusion cuisines please!

Thanks!

Hey my friend I've stayed at that hotel before, I loved it. Eat dinner at a restaurant called Globe, I took my girlfriend there and we had the most amazing meal for about $90 including tip that would have cost maybe $300 or more where I live in New York City. Also George Clooney goes there when he's in town to pull tail.

        That would be "no"

But if you will bump your budget to $40 kpaxonite's suggestion works.

Bouillon Bilk is way out of their range. Three courses will run you $50 before booze, taxes and service. Brasserie T or F Bar are not going to fit the bill either. I don't see the OP staying in their price range and eating anywhere that's not a hole-in-the-wall or fast-food.

You are right across the street from "chinatown" but 10 minutes away Brasseurie T and F Bar are great options for your price range.
