Upscale Burger in or near FQ
I'll be there this weekend and was wondering if there are any upscale (nice wine list, tablecloths, good service) though casual (if that's possible) restaurants in or near FQ you'd recommend. I'll be travelling with my niece who has an aversion to seafood. Any place where she can order a good hamburger yet I can order more traditional NOLA fare?

For a current list (Aug. 2011). http://www.nola.com/dining-guide/index.ssf/2011/08/5_new_burger_joints_bring_new.html
Although not in the quarter, La Petite Grocery sounds like what you had in mind.

re: Littleman
I apppreciate all of your responses. We ate at Luke one night for a fabulous meal and the bar at Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse last night. Both had excellent burgers. BTW, loved the onion rings at Brennan's.

re: califkatie
Dickie Brennan's only serves lunch on Fri. Most restaurants offer beef and usually a pasta option in addition to seafood. I don't recall a burger on any fine dining dinner menus.
Re: Luke
Imo their huge burger delivers more on eye appeal than flavor. The .50oysters during happy hour are the only thing that brings me there. In fact, I go for oysters then go elsewhere for dinner.
