Upscale Burger in or near FQ
I'll be there this weekend and was wondering if there are any upscale (nice wine list, tablecloths, good service) though casual (if that's possible) restaurants in or near FQ you'd recommend. I'll be travelling with my niece who has an aversion to seafood. Any place where she can order a good hamburger yet I can order more traditional NOLA fare?
Dickie Brennan's only serves lunch on Fri. Most restaurants offer beef and usually a pasta option in addition to seafood. I don't recall a burger on any fine dining dinner menus.
Imo their huge burger delivers more on eye appeal than flavor. The .50oysters during happy hour are the only thing that brings me there. In fact, I go for oysters then go elsewhere for dinner.
Hermes Bar at Antoine's has a delicious kobe beef burger. And they have happy hour daily from 4 to 8 pm.
burgers are on the menu at some of the new upscale bars. silvain, cap de ville and bouligny tavern. is your niece over 21?
Here's a few great burger joint's to go with your current list. Good luck.
