picking up my son from his guitar lesson on havermeyer/metro, think we're gonna do roberta's; any other recs?

  1. Depending what you're in the mood for, these places are not far:

    Pies and Thighs- southern (fried chicken, etc), family friendly at all (don' tknow if that matters as your son could be a teenager!)

    Fette Sau- best bbq i've had in NYC, great for families (picnic tables)

    Isla is a new place by the guy who did Freemans/Peels

        Thanks! We've been to Fette Sau, and will definitely be back, but I'd like to try some different places, too, Pies & Thighs especially. The problem is that his lesson ends at 4, which is the blackest hour, when all the restaurants are closed.
