Going to Goodspeed in East Haddam

I am going down Route 9 from West Hartford to East Haddam. I need a place to stop for lunch tomorrow. Any ideas?

Should have also mentioned to call ahead, East Haddam has 77% without power,
and a lot of towns south of Middletown are in the same boat.

Also Luce, ORourke's Diner, Typhoon, etc. For an offbeat ethnic hole in the wall place, try Iguanas Ranas, Pho Mai or Udupi Bhavan.

What type of food are you looking for? There are some good places in Middletown.
In Tylerville (right before you go over the Goodspeed bridge) there is a decent
spot called The Cooking Company. They have prepared foods in cases, they also
make sandwiches and wraps to order. I love their fresh squeezed lemonade
in the summer.

Thanks for the trip. I had a late lunch there. I had a turkey cheese quesadilla and it was delicious.
