Bahn Mi in Merced, at Donut King (and they deliver!)
Finally, a place to get good Bahn Mi in Merced...Donut King on Main Street has them, along with boba drinks, 'American sub sandwiches' (haven't tried those) and, of course, donuts. I've tried the bbq pork and the lemongrass chicken, both good, and I am developing a possible addiction to their pineapple boba drink.
It isn't the cheapest ($4 a sandwich), but for that price they deliver, including all the way to UC Merced, from downtown. Delivery has been reasonably reliable, but always later than promised on the two times coworkers and I have tried it. Both times we placed a big order; they might not want to drive all the way out to campus for a very small order, though I haven't tried.
It is very nice to have this option in Merced.

Let me know what you think....I'd love to think that there are other options for Bahn Mi in this town also, but I haven't found any! Lucky Pho had a sign a while back that they were 'coming soon', but they didn't have them the last time I was there...
