Villa Piacere....is it worth going?

I've passed this place so many times and the exterior fascinates me for some reason. I'd like to give it a try but first, I would like to hear from someone who has been there.

Sit on the beautiful patio out back, order what you think to be the safest, can't screw it up meal on the menu, and you will live to tell about it.
Otherwise, no.

<sigh> Oh well, it looked like a nice quiet, elegant place to eat but, thanks to you folks, I won't be there. I would have tried their short ribs.

That was a long time ago and my previous visit had been fine. But that still ranks as one of my worst-five meals in Los Angeles.
