What happened to this post?

I know it's an old-ish thread but I know I actually wrote something about the Central Park food trucks and such. Yet the entirety of the actual words has been removed leaving only some links that I must have mentioned.

Any idea as to what happened? It doesn't seem to be my computer.

  1. I remember a while back that there was some Site Talk post about issues with the first character you used in the post. I know the mods will not change a post without the poster's permission.

That being said, these past two days I've been seeing some really bizarre behaviour on the site ... the reason I opened your topic ... so maybe there is some work going on currently that is making things wonky.

Nothing I'm aware of. We haven't released anything noteworthy into the wild in the past few days, probably longer.

So do you know why the paragraph that I wrote is now gone? It seems very strange to me. And clearly it was there at some point since Bob's response indicates so.

          Did you edit your post?

When the problems were occurring with first characters of paragraphs - the ones that rworange refers to above - post content was okay when first entered, but got corrupted after the poster went in to edit it. I thought those problems were fixed, but if the content disappeared when you edited your post, it's possible they are still happening.

I don't recall editing. The only reason I saw it again since it was back from June/July was because someone resurrected the thread. Then when I looked - poof - my post was empty, leaving only the links. Very strange.
