Vegetarian AND gluten-free "friendly" on Capitol Hill or in NE DC?

I'm organizing a group dinner on Capitol Hill that includes one guest who is both vegetarian and on a gluten-free diet. I live here and am not particularly thrilled with the restaurants in general - I'm looking for suggestions. So far it looks like The Old Siam on 8th St SE might be the best option...I'd love to find a place that is actually really good as well as meeting the dietary restrictions...

    Definitely look at Cava!

When I worked in that area we use to go to Old Siam because our vegan co-worker could always find something to eat there. Maybe Cava would work as well.

If you are able to leave the Hill I know Firefly and Urbana have gluten-free specific menus
