Does any one know the restaurant I am thinking of?

The restaurant is very beautiful with 2 levels and a beautiful long bar.
They have a weonderful burger on the menu and I just cannot think of the name of this restaurant.
I am from NY and do not remember the exact location.

The main question is whether it was bright with lots of windows, or very dark and where you'd go to have an affair.

If the latter, probably Bix. If the former, most likely Zuni, but possibly NOPA.

Further, if you could answer whether the bar was copper, we'd have your answer: Zuni.

How long ago was the OP here? Nopa has not been open nearly as long as Zuni or Bix.

Was it one of the ones recommended on your last trip? If you had reported back we would have had a record of it. Zuni was suggested in 2007, Neither Bix nor Nopa.

Probably Bix, as the bar at Zuni is neither beautiful nor long :-)

For the OP, Bix is located in an alley (Gold Street) in the Jackson Square area of the city and the staff dresses very well, almost formally. Does this ring a bell?
