Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy party food

Hello everyone,

I would like to collect some ideas for a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy themed party.

I would appreciate any food ideas, but those for drinks and decorations are also welcome!

You may want to check into the second book in the series "The Restaurant At The End Of The Universe". There could be some good ideas in there also.

I would do the cake as the bowl of petunias - chocolate cake, chocolate frosting, stick some petunias in the top.

There is never any tea! Just drinks that are almost but not quite like tea ;)

There's the drink in And Another Thing, something like whiskey and an egg - can read up on that one.

Steaks, definitely.

I'll try to think of more.

Chicken with 42 cloves of garlic? Cupcakes with crushed up Oreos on top (like dirt), add frosting petunias, with little whales stuck in them?

first-- everybody has to have a towel......

then have everybody drink six pints...
and have some peanuts (for the salt)

then have really bad poetry readings.....

and a proper british tea...

LOL, agree on the towel. Get a bunch of inexpensive handtowels or fingertip towels and use as napkins.
