Looking for Recommendations for family friendly Gramercy Park (or nearby) restaurants
My husband and I will be staying in New York Saturday night with our 10 and 12 year old non-adventurous eaters. We are looking for a recommendation in the Gramercy Park area for dinner, where my husband and I can enjoy a good meal but where our kids can get some basics (pasta, chicken fingers, etc). We are interested in any type of American/Italian/Tavern food, no Asian or spicy food.

Sarge's Delicatessen is great - lots of sandwiches and typical deli food.
I also like Pizza Fresca Ristorante - The pizza is delicious and I think your kids would be old enough to sit inside (I wouldn't bring 4 year olds in!). It has a great atmosphere but still fairly casual and well priced.
