What's good to get here, foodwise? Or is food besides the point, and I should just go for a beer or coctail and soak up the old-world atmosphere?

I come here for lunch sometimes. The sand dabs are surprisingly good for what the place is. Not gonna earn it any Michelin stars, but goes well with their excellent bloody mary! Expect friendly but slowish service, mostly from being understaffed usually. It's perfectly fine for a leisurely meal, but don't go if you're in any kind of rush. I love this place for long Friday lunches ...
