Need recs for cocktails near the Apollo Theater

My wife and I are in town this weekend celebrating our 30th. Looking for an upscale eclectic place to have a cocktail and perhaps a small bite before seeing MDQ @ 8:00PM Friday night.

The Apollo is at 2540 North Lincoln. I know there are a couple of topics about nearby food:
