I have to say, I am really looking forward to this grocery option...especially for fruits and veggies.

Spring 2012 is very optimistic. The entire retail development (Longo's plus other buildings on this area) had the tender closing today... so any expectation for stuff by say... June 19, 2012 (last day of Spring) needs to get through winter construction.

I think spring 2012 is optimistic. It's a big old heritage building that needs to be renovated.
It will be nice to have a variety of produce in the neighborhood. Currently the best selection and quality is at Passion Flower, but their prices are somewhat astronomical, especially for berries.

you sure its in the heritage building and not in the empty lot in front of it?

in any event, this was rumoured for a long time and i'm looking forward to being able to get good produce for once.

The Town Crier, and my friends at the Leaside Property Owners' Association tell me that the train shed will house the grocery store.
