ANOTHER STEAK HOUSE POSTING
I have read through the previous posts and it seems like most on the board speak highly of Cut, Delmonico's, Carnevino, SW, Prime.
What about more of an old-school steakhouse?
About 6 years ago I was staying overnight at the Renaissance next to the Convention Center. I was surprised how incredible their steakhouse was. I think it is called Envy.
Where would anyone recommend either on the strip or off for a thick cut, large ribeye and incredible sides. A great martini and a terrific Ceaser salad.
Thanks

The steakhouse in circus circus and the golden steer are about as old school as you can get. The circus circus steakhouse is very well regarded (surprisingly it often makes "best of" lists). The Golden Steer is less well regarded food wise, but it has more old Vegas history associated with it. Pretty much all the old greats like the Rat Pack, Elvis, etc used to dine there.
