2008 Kressmann Grand Reserve Saint-Emilion

Kurtis Aug 28, 2011 01:26 PM

We had this memorable bottle during our vacation in southern France. A half bottle sold for 19.50 Euros at L'Arome in Bonnieux. I've been trying to find this or similar in the states - we are based in NYC- without success. Any thoughts on how to go about finding/buying this or similar bottle?

It sounds like a negotiant label...No listing for it in Wine-searcher.com. Why not go for a chateau bottled St. Emilion that a good wine store can recommend? (Chambers Street Wines, Le Duc, Astor) etc?

Thanks for the suggestion, and have been trying this with my local store without great success. Most recently I tried 1999 Chateau de Bellevue, Lussac-Saint-Emilion which was quite different from one in search. Looking to seek out above mentioned stores.

You should be able to find it. I you come to the Outer Banks, stop by The Sweet Duck, in Duck. We have several bottles in stock.

I am unable to find your store on internet. If you ship, please contact me via my email in the profile with link to your store website. Thanks.

Kressman has a website and contact information. Give them a call and ask about distribution.
