Naked Oyster - Cape Cod

I flew home from the Caribbean and was craving a good meal. My DSM allowed me to choose so I settled on Naked Oyster. I have not been to the new location. It's narrow but long. The decor is fun and funky with great art and interesting light fixtures. Our waitress was Kylie. She was great all night. We had a lovely bus boy as well. My DSM chose a Hurricane which was cranberry, OJ, vodka and something else. It tasted like cough syrup. My house made no mix Margarita was good. I chose the 1.5 pound grilled lobster with Peruvian purple potatoes and asparagus. The aspargus was the best part of the meal. The potatoes dry and no flavour and the lobster meat was so dry sticking to the shell. I gave up. Oh the bread and honey unsalted butter was great. My DSM had haddock. It was dry too. The bill with tip was around 120.00.

I went there several years ago with my sister-in-law. They had only been open a few months. We ordered a selection of baked oysters. Yummy with one exception. An absolutely foul dead one was on the plate. The stench was awful. I've never been back and never will. I've eaten oysters all over the country and never have been served something so disgusting. I know that they had to know it was rotten, the smell was that bad.

Where is the new location? The link on your post is the same old location, I think (that weird office bldg on the corner of Indep Drive). Welcome home!

Yes. It is very easy easy to miss as it is right next to British beer Co. And can't be more than 12 feet of frontage next to Puritan. My single experience mirrors phelanas. Food was overpriced with sub quality prep. Actually charged me $14 for a small mixed drink. Like the room but that is all.
