Mundaka & Basil in Carmel - question

Do either take reservations? If not, how hard to get a table on a Saturday night?

Basil has very tight seating, so I would find out the best time to arrange to be there for dinner and for lunch be there when they open the door. Maybe it doesn't bother you, but I hate being wedged in between two other tables and be privy to their conversation.
According to Yelp, they both take reservations.

I will. It's just that I have been putting together an itinery and wanted to make a lot of plans.
