Dolce Bella in San Jose: Desserts, Chocolates, Wine and a Jazz Trio

We wandered into Dolce Bella at the Westgate West Shopping Center.around 8:30 last night. It is across from OSH and seems like it belongs in a totally different part of town! The place was hopping. People were sipping wine, enjoying the breeze at the outdoor tables and having dessert. There was a great jazz trio playing.

We had a delicious chocolate pot de creme with a chewy almond cookie--$5. The chocolate fondue came with fresh strawberry, banana, pineapple, mini orange scented madelines and the house made caramels to dip--$10. The owner sat at our table briefly to chat and the chef brought out the desserts. The waitress was very sweet and efficient without being rushed at all.

They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and they have an array of chocolates and cookies.

Just a lovely experience. I highly recommend it.
