Laduree NYC today or tomorrow opening?

all news said 26th and now their website says 27th. anyone visit today yet--maybe soft opening?? need my fix!!

six months later and the novelty has already worn off. i'm not against waiting in line for something special, but i don't appreciate being made a fool of. the staff here works at such a snails pace to ensure that there is always a line. they make such a production out of every order. delicate service and charm may be parisian charm, but this is New York. shove that cookie in the bag and let's get moving. i'm not likely to return any time soon.

I noticed that when I was there a few days ago. I don't need you to go over every single packaging option you have. I understand that that may be useful for tourists who are buying gifts, but I really just wanted my cookies to take home and didn't care what packaging they came in. (And I found the staff quite snobby to boot.)

According to Eater NY, the shop will open either tonight or tomorrow at 9:00 am.

Walked by at 5:00PM earlier today and FWIW the windows were covered up and there was construction equipment in front.

I walked by yesterday and they looked far from opening. They were still painting and looking through the door, they didn't even have the shelves put up.

with the Hurricane and the NYC Transit system shutting down this weekend, do not expect any type of opening.
