Hi Everyone! I'd really like to cultivate a bay tree in my apartment. Anyone know where I can buy one in the Philly area? Thanks!

I'd start with Ott's Exotic Plants in Schwenksville for any unusual plant. Even if you're nowhere near here, its worth the drive out just to climb the chrysanthemum mountain, go through the jungle in the three-story Victorian greenhouse and roam the acres of main greenhouse with its thousands of offerings.

I scored one at Waterloo Gardens in the spring. So far it has flourished in a pot on my back patio. If I can keep just keep it alive through the winter, I'm golden.
