Sydney for party of 11
My wife and I are visiting our daughter, who is on a semester abroad at University of Sydney, and some of her friends to dinner in September. Need recs for a place that can take a big group and do a good job. I was thinking maybe a steakhouse. All recs are welcome.

I agree with mr_gimlet that the Asian restaurants are generally the best-equipped for large groups. I was at a Chinese restaurant called Emperor's Choice on George Street last week, and they had a table for 12 seated at a big round table with a lazy susan in the middle for sharing dishes.
But many restaurants will be able to provide a table for 11. I guess it kind of depends on what kind of meal you are after, and whether you mind being seated at separate tables, or prefer all one table. Selah is a nice place for Mod Oz, but they might not get all of you at one table. Prague, a Czech place in King's Cross does a good group menu. A Tavola or Giardinetto Italian restaurants on Stanley Street in East Sydney do groups. These are just a few places I can think of where I've seen large groups. I'm afraid I can't speak for any steak houses.
