Looking for a Great Place for Crab In Annapolis

My husband's a huge Maryland crab fan so I'm taking him to Annapolis for his birthday. We're staying downtown. Where can we get the best crab? I'm looking for a place where we can sit down for a couple hours, pick at crab and drink beer.

I hear Cantler's is the best, but it's not downtown so I'm concerned about driving home (I'd prefer not to be the DD!). If you recommend Cantler's, do you know if it's possible to take a water taxi there? I think that would make for a really fun evening.

Regardless of transportation, Cantler's is the one.

The only place I know of downtown to get crabs is Buddy's. Cantlers is a better selection. I don't think water taxis run over to Mill Creek.
