Not that I know of. I've only ever seen them with the beet attached - or all beet no greens. Has your friend tried Planet Organic or the other natural food markets? They're the only places I know of the reliably sell beets with the greens attached(you two could always split the purchase - friend takes greens you get beets) :)

I'd just buy the beets with greens attached, cut em' off, sell them to my friend at cost, and keep the beets as a finders fee. I might even raise the price due to the scarcity of beet greens only in Calgary.

I picked up some beet greens at the Millarville Farmers' Market about a month ago.

I'm pretty sure the people at the Greens, Eggs & Ham booth at Kingsland Farmer's Market sells them. Best to call ahead of time.
