Chaurice?

Visiting next week and want to take some chaurice back w/ me. Traveling by car, will, of course, have cooler. (Traveling I-10 and I-55, if that's relevant.)

We started getting our chorizo from Ideal Market on Broad Street. It's spicier and tastes better than the chaurice from Cajun Country.

I happened to be at Norma's Bakery today (that's where we're getting our new tortas) and looked for Valencia Rice. They have it there. It's in Kenner, 1blk off I-10 toward the lake on Williams. I would suspect that if they have it then Ideal would have it too.

I was thinking Dorignacs...read about it here, in fact. Martins? As in Martin's Wine Cellar? Hadn't thought about them in years.

As in Wine Cellar. The. "big" store is now on Vets. They have yet to reopen the original uptown location. They also carry Cochon tasso and andouille as well as some La Boulangerie bread.

Poche's in Breaux Bridge has it...and I believe Cochon Butcher is making it, as well.
