Is there anywhere I can get sarsaprilla or birch beer in the Milwaukee area?

Is there a specialty soda shop where I can find these things?

Thanks!

  1. I would think a nicer grocery store like Sendiks would have these and maybe even some pick n saves...but I know for sure I have seen both sarsaparilla and birch soda at Woodmans. Lots of gourmet sodas to choose from there.

    1. Do you have a Cost Plus World Market near you? They generally carry both items.

Thanks all - I'll hit Woodmans and cost plus in Germantown this friday.
I usually avoid Cost Plus since I often was taken as a "wee lad" on Dad's business trips to San Francisco and LOVED the first store by Fisherman's Wharf (when Fisherman's wharf was worth visiting and not totally generic as it is now). Cost Plus is not what it once was.

You might also want to give Discount Liquors a call; they have a pretty big selection of these types of sodas.

            Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53219

I think there's also one in Waukesha somewhere.

From their website at www.discountliquorinc.com :

              Discount Liquor Waukesha
              919 Barstow Street
              Waukesha, Wisconsin 53186

      2. Is Sioux City available? I've seen it, only sold in individual bottles, though, at convenience stores in a few midwestern states.

          You can ask at www.siouxcitybeverages.com/WhereToBuy...

They make sarsaparilla, diet sarsaparilla, and birch beer, among other products.

Thanks for providing the link. What's a little odd, to me, is thhey don't have a list on the site. You fill out your information, and they'll send you an e-mail with a list of their distributors.

        2. Thanks everyone!
Woodman's had both - on sale even!
