Need recs for intriguing solo dining (lunch and dinner) near Parsippany
Driving from Newark Airport to Parsippany, and needing late lunch en route or lunch and dinner recs for Parsippany area (or down toward Madison). Dining solo, and looking for something ethnic, or great pizza. Anything bold and interesting.
Thanks!

Churrasco Grill in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany has a loyal following and many regard The Reservoir Tavern in nearby Boonton as the best Pizza
for Chinese, I recommend Qin Dynasty for Seafood and Dim Sum....and Hunan Noodle House for plates, soup bowls and sautee/stir fry. The latter is a small family run place. Both are on the east side of Route 46 Not a fan of Noodle Chu. Hunan Cottage in Fairfield gets a lot of interest on food blogs and as being authentic if you are truly feeling adventurous.

I'm hearing a lot of good things about Reservoir Tavern. Dining solo, if I want pizza, I guess I'm looking at a small and maybe a salad as a meal? And what's the vibe and how much time do I need to allow if I go either (1) late afternoon, pre-dinner crowd, like 4ish, or (2) later in the evening, like 10pm?

re: dimsumfan
The vibe is definitely tavern; NOT dressy, and during the week, I'd think you'd be ok around dinner time. I'm not sure they're still open/serving after 10 during the week.
Other recs...sorry that I can't remember the name of it, but the Indian place in the Morris Hills Shopping Ctr (corner of Rts 202 and 46 in Parsip) is v good. You could also head to Denville Dairy in Denville for some excellent homemade ice cream afterwards!
On Rt 10 in E. Hanover is Saffron, a slightly more upscale Indian spot with an excellent lunch buffet (7 days a week, iirc).
Having lived there and now working nearby, the only place in Madison I can recommend is Nicky's Firehouse Pizza (thin crust and EXCELLENT, imo), which is on Central Ave. The other food offerings are just eh, although I do enjoy the big salads at Soho 33 for lunch.
