Seeking: Scotch Whisky events, Toronto/GTA

  • 8

I'm looking for some events like scotch tastings/etc happening anywhere from Niagara falls to Peterborough from end of October onward. Something I could buy tickets for as a gift for someone.

Does anyone have any ideas? I've been googling and only past events are coming up.

  1. Not sure if you've already found this in your googling, The Feathers Pub has single malt tours and tastings. They are known to have quite the extensive selection.

They offer a whiskey tour that is very nice. Tickets can be purchased as well.

      1. There are two events coming up at the Summerhill LCBO in October

        1. Marlew, Daniel's regularly puts on special dinners that really are special. Sorry you just missed his Scotch and Cigar evening last week. He's about 20 minutes north of the Airport on 27.

Daniel is getting on in chef-years, so i don't expect him to be continuing much longer.

          Check on his specials at:

          1. The Caledonian at College and Ossington has tasting events quite often. Usually with the reps from the distillery in attendance. Tickets are in the $30 to $50 range depending on which label and how many different bottles you sample. In the nice weather they do them alfresco on the back patio.

They've also got a dangerous single malt selection. 60 or 70 different ones, some they import themselves.

            1. thanks everyone! I'll be checking all of these options out. Whisky Live doesn't look like the right environment I'm going for, but I'll still peek at it.

              Cheers!
