yes, had dinner there about three months ago. i have eaten there maybe 3-4 times over the past couple of years. you will always have a nice experience and above average food. this time, however, our waitress seemed a little slow and akward,(the busboys rocked) and my wild salmon was average. My friend's trout dinner and the chocolate bread pudding were exceptionally good, though.
Josie's is definitely worth a try.

I went recently and everything was great (service may seem a bit overattentive to some, however.) If you're going to check out for first time, try for a Wednesday when they have the Farmer's Market Prix-Fixe (3 courses for around $33, utilizing fresh finds that the chefs picked out THAT day.)

I had dinner at Josie's recently and both the food & service were outstanding. I had the carmelized fig, toasted hazelnuts & arugala salad and the australian lamb chops, and it was all wonderful. I was particulary impressed with the service. Our server was very attentive without being irritating. Josie's has a extensive wine list, and the prices are quite high, but I guess that is normal. On Monday's they have a "no corkage fee" special, where you can bring in your own wine. I highly recommend them & can't wait to go back!

Josie's is still great. The tagine of short ribs and the venison are particularly wonderful, and the buffalo burger with foie gras and fries is a delicious alternative--but watch out for the squirt when you first bite into it.

re: New Trial
I think Josie is given a bit more credit than it deserves, but it is still very good. The buffalo burger has a pleasantly smooth texture, and comes with the most amazing truffle fries. If you don't get the burger, you should order a side of fries. I also really liked the fig and goat cheese tart and my dessert, which was a ginger pear upside down cake. I would avoid the escargot, and I wasn't too impressed with the ostrich.
