Tabasco Slection in Montreal

HMehr Aug 23, 2011 08:45 AM

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if you know where I can get a hold of a full selection of Tabasco sauces in Montreal. I've tried many supermarkets but they mainly have the classic & the light green one.

I tired ordering a 6 Pepper Sauce Caddy: http://countrystore.tabasco.com/prodi... on their website but it costs 38 USD to ship to Montreal + 28 USD the cost of the product. So it is not really worth it.

Any suggestions? Maybe the store in Atwater market has it? Have you seen Tabasco selection there?

    Thanks everyone!
It looks like that Douceurs at Atwater market is the place to go. I live close to there. So will drop by this weekend and let you know.

I tried IGA but they only have the classic and the mild green one. There is at least 4 or 5 more different kinds of Tabasco that IGA does not carry.

I've never been to Anatols at little Italy. Maybe I give it a visit on the weekend. I'll let you know if their selection included Tabasco.

    Thanks again,

Not sure what Tabasco sauces they have at Anatols in Little Italy but they usually have an okay selection of hot sauces and you won't pay "gourmet" prices.

I have found a few of the Tabasco sauces at IGA grocery stores you might want to try there

Have a look at what "La Dépense" at Jean-Talon market has (call before, just in case).

If not tabasco, they might have other types of hot sauce.

La Depense only has classic, I went last weekend. I found a bigger selection at Douceurs du Marche at Atwater.

I second Douceurs as well, but be prepared to pay through the nose for the selection. Well, at least pay more than anyone should pay for Tabasco.
