Annisa or Ai Fiore?

I'm stricken with a huge case of indecisiveness - I can't choose between Ai Fiore and Annisa for an anniversary celebration coming up.

I've studied both menus, read the reviews, checked out the blogs and posts - the bottom line is that both sound fabulous. There's one vote for Annisa and one for Ai Fiore, so I'm the tiebreaker.

Any advice that will help tip the balance?

Thanks!

Because it's an anniversary part of me says that it's not just about the food and that the location and ambiance are big factors. I think both menus are great and you will enjoy the food at either place, but being in a small, cozy restaurant in the Village seems to me to be a better vibe than a restaurant in midtown in a hotel.

I'd give my vote to Annisa.

I agree. I've been to both this year, and while I'd happily take business colleagues or friends to Ai Fiori, for an anniversary I'd pick Annisa.

While I haven't dined at Annisa, I did have a wonderful dinner at Ai Fiori at the end of March. Definitely need to make plans to return to Ai Fiori soon.

I've been to Ai Fiori several times, and Annisa many times. Both are excellent but for an anniversary, I like the ambience at Annisa more. I also find the food more interesting and unusual.

Haven't been to Ai Fiori, but highly recommend Annisa for all of the reasons mentioned here. Food was some of the best I've had recently and the ambiance is perfectly suited for an anniversary celebration. Now that you mention it, mine is coming up next month so I may make a reservation there. Either way, Happy Anniversary and enjoy!
