Suggestions for Sports Arena/Rosecrans/Point Loma Area

a

Will be in San Diego for business for a week. Will be in the Sports Arena/Rosecrans/Point Loma area most of the time. I know there are loads of restaurants in the vicinity-- but which ones are worth a visit?

Would love lunch and dinner recommendations. Mexican, Chinese, Sushi, Fish, Burgers. Just about anything-- but would love to skip mediocre.

Thanks!

Check out The Pearl down on Rosecrans.

Second the Pearl for dinner. Jimmy's Famous American Tavern for huge burgers and comfort food right on the harbor. Point Loma Seafood or Mitch's for fish.

What do you like at Sessions Public? I went once and was very underwhelmed. I want to like the place - perhaps I'm missing the star dishes.

As for the OP, I'd also add to the list Olive Tree Market in Ocean Beach for great sandwiches.

+4 for Tender Greens. Got dinner to go from there last night after the SFUSD mixer at The Pearl. I'm stuck on the Happy Vegan

My husband's grandson is named after Pearson's Deli. I won't get into the details. ;D

                Love that..
                Pearson is a great name..
I've heard of parents naming their child after cars, Scotch, conception cities but I've yet to hear one named for a fuel dock with a great deli..
                That is a classic Foodiechicka..
