Andrew Zimmern is coming to Simply Khmer in lowell

My favorite cambodian place in lowell is getting a visit from Andrew Zimmern.

they are going to prepare a intestine dish and a chicken feet dish for him.

I did not know Clio was open for lunch. Seems like people are always looking for high-end lunch options, ever since Locke Ober and No 9 stopped serving lunch.

It's possible that they are doing a film shoot in the place, without actually being open.

A Twitter post from the Chef de Cuisine at Clio to Andrew Zimmern: "Awesome time today." So it looks like they were likely filming there this morning.

And now he's on a boat with the Island Creek people, apparently harvesting oysters for Thomas Keller of The French Laundry (yes, THE French Laundry) in Yountville, CA. How cool is that?

wonder if he made the Southeast Asian Water Festival this past weekend......food was awesome and read that Simply Khmer was there. It was way too crowded w/ hubbys surgical boot so we didn't see it all or stay long...next year for sure will my way through. Had the best pad thai ever.

btw had our first pigs stomach at Sichuan Gourmet in billerica. Omg awesome....they were like "you sure?" and the table that sat down next to us looked all our dishes and smiled "wow your good". If I could only eat @ one rest for rest of my life, this is it but then again, havnt done simply lhmer but once.....so far

yea i dunno.. One week he is eating raw Emu Uterus stuffed with live scorpions and then chicken feet and tripe?

He is guaranteed to do a better job showcasing Boston than Anthony Bourdain. His Jamaica episode for example was superior to No Reservations on so many levels.

Wonder where else in town he is planning to hit?

Oh heck, for Andrew, fry up a pizzle or two.

Even I have had intestines and chicken feet, and I'm lame!

Yah not sure sure he gets bizarro chow points for that.

They oughta make some whacky dish up just for our chubby verbose friend.
