Searching for good pumpernickel bread

Does anyone have a good rec on a bakery that makes fresh pumpernickel?

As a companion question: who has the best rye?

        My sis used to work there and part of her benefits was to get a loaf of bread or bagels. I remember her walking in to my home with some of the best bread in my life and I grew up on homemade.
