Fresh Caramel Apples

Hi all

I have a bit of a "long shot" question. I was informed last night that somehere on Rt 2 (though possibly Rt 9) there is a farm stand that, during the fall months, makes fresh caramel apples to order. Apparently the spot is directly on the Rt- not an exit off of it.

I realize I'm not giving a lot of information here but does anyone have any thoughts on what place might do this?

Thank you so much!

Idylwild in Acton also makes caramel apples as well as candy apples, cider donuts and the like.

I didn't find your farm but I did find a 2008 Chowhound conversation you can check with some ideas.

You're the best Penny! Sounds like Wilson's has something like what I'm looking for! Hopefully they still do the fresh ones on the weekend!

Only place that I can think of that is directly on rte 2 these days is Gerard's - on top of the hill just after passing 128 - it's on the Eastbound side though (might be a stand on the westbound side too?). You would have to drive up to the next light and take the jughandle to make a U-turn. I guess that is considered Lincoln.

Don't know about the caramel apples though.

NOt sure of one that's right on Rt 2, but Wilson's Farms (just off Rte 2) makes great fresh caramel apples on weekends in the fall (cider donuts too).
