Looking for farmstand, 495 between Norton & Sandwich

Heading to the Cape Friday....leaving Norton after work, would like to find a good farmstand to just load up on whatever looks nice for the weekend. Any suggestions?

Already been to farmfresh and wasn't finding much that was helpful. This market is Tuesdays, the Friday one is Buzzard's Bay which I don't want to deal with because of traffic .....

Weeding through the options on farmfresh has been difficult because I have to go through the farms individually to find out if they're close to 495, have a farmstand (as opposed to just a CSA, etc)....that's why I was hoping someone on here could give me a specific red.

      2. what I wanted you to see is Sandwiches market: Tuesday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
        June 7 to October 25, 2011

Thanks Phelana, but I'm leaving Friday after work and going for the wkend. Tuesday daytime market no good for me.

Jomo, thanks for trying, but I've seen that market and doesn't have enough "ooomph" for me....I'm looking for something really nice, loaded w/the best the season has to offer.

        2. There is a little stand on 123 on the right side just over the 495 ramps heading towards Easton. Not sure what they are selling, but it looks like it might be your standard fare, squash, zucchini, etc. Looks to be on the honor system also.

          1. I think this interactive map from MassGrown might help. You can click to get to the websites if they have one. It looks like Bay End farm has a stand but they are in Buzzard Bay.

            1. too late for this now, but maybe for future reference there is a farmer's market on Friday afternoons 2-6 at La Salette in Attleboro that just started up...

I've been a huge fan of Chowhound for years but I'm new to posting so this is also a bit late. I live nearby and on my down the Cape most Fridays I stop at Nessralla Farm Stand at 177 Sandwich Road in Wareham. They have a wide variety of fruits and vegetables and they are less than five minutes off Route 25. They close promptly at 6 PM and since they have a bit of an attitude they do not care if you arrive at 6:01. They close at 6. Period.
