found some Big Jim new mexs at the Dane County farmers market. locally grown by the chile pepper vendor, always near the corner where Genna's is. Right across from the Best Western. Had their chiles before, very reliable.

Not in any stores, but very occasionally I have gotten some from a produce vendor at Seven Mile Fair. You have to keep checking and asking if they have any or know when any will be arriving, but it's worth the effort.

Are those Hatch chilies? I have heard they are very good but close to impossible to find in these parts.

Hatch chiles are great, and the ones at Seven Mile Fair are excellent but not from Hatch. The vendor told me they were from northern New Mexico.
