Milan in August - recommendations for tomorrow please
My partner and I have just arrived in Milan after two weeks in the Sud Tirol and would greatly appreciate any recommendations of restaurants open tomorrow (Monday) for lunch and dinner. We are looking for delicious pasta with pesto for lunch (I realize we're in MIlan and not Genoa, but thought we'd try) and wonderful seafood or veal for dinner. Many places are closed for the August holiday so any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. If you have any other great ideas for us (we don't have to have pesto for lunch), please send them along. I have searched the board already but haven't found the answers I am hoping for. Thanks, Chowhounders, in advance. We are avid readers of Chowhound France and it's nice to cross the border to the Italian side for a change.
