Dewey Beach??

foodieX2 Aug 21, 2011 06:10 AM

My husband is dragging us there to relive a little piece of his childhood. We already plan on having at least one Nicoboli and grabbing a beer at the Bottle and Cork but that is it so far.

Any not to miss places? High end, low end, casual or fancy we don't really have a preference but we do want to have crabs and crab cakes. We are only there for a few days.

Make sure to get a chicken platter at Ed's on Rt. 1. It's a dive but the chicken is excellent (and they have crabs too)!

Que Pasa and The Rudder have spectacular views of the bay and are both quintessential beach hangouts. The Starboard offers a great breakfast and you could get your crab fix there with their "Eggs Delmarva." The Rehoboth Foodie likes Two Seas and Port in Dewey but I have not been to either yet.
My family's go-to seafood place is Big Fish Grill.
Jerry's on Second Street in Lewes has the best crab cakes around.
You won't be disappointed with your Nicoboli's!
Take a minute and look over this board for more ideas.
I hope you enjoy your time here. I think Dewey is awesome.
