You might like the fish fry on Fridays at Fanizzi's but get a reservation Also great fish on other nights plus parking and views if that is a consideration.

re: lavendula
Just got back from the Cape (12 days) and tried many places, most quite good some blah. In P-town our two best were The Mews and Victors. The Mews is not cheap, but we felt, very well worth it. Gorgeous dining room and very good service. Victors is quite elegant as well, but very bright. They offer a "small plate" type menu, most under $20, many under $15. Most portions were NOT small and were very tasty. We could have ordered a lot less and felt full. In addition, they offer a raw bar happy hour from 4-5 P.M. Order a nice glass of wine then enjoy oyster, shrimp and clams for $1 each! Yummy.
Lobster Pot is more mundane, but what they do they do well and at decent prices. Karoo Kafe is also reasonable and totally unique. If you haven't tried South African food it's a must. I have been happy at Napi as well. Amazingly varied menu.

re: phelana
I second Karoo Kafe. It's one of the few South African restaurants I've encountered in the Northeast and it's very good. Casual atmosphere, decent prices, a lot of fun overrall. Also, they have a little grocery store where you can buy things like Fruit Pastilles and Ouma Rusks.
