I started working in Century City last fall, and after about two weeks came to the same conclusion you did -- there really is nothing decent to eat at the Kitchen, except the salad bar. Soups are watery, rice is gummy at the asian station, mexican is just eh, and the burgers are just plain awful. I pretty much eat at City Express every day I don't bring lunch. That's a long time with few nearby options, and the list of new restaurants does not instill me with confidence. I like The Stand in Encino, but it's only quasi-fast food.
